2025 NOTES

As my diary from the period can attest, I recorded this while I thought I was going to die. That's all I'm going to say about that.

Perhaps partially because of this, I really didn't care for this album even just a month later when I was still alive. Reappraising it this year, I was surprised at how much I didn't hate it. It could easily have been half as long, and would have benefited from it, but to my ears today, it explores some places I hadn't really set foot in before or since.
